Competency coaching addresses the growing need to continue the development attained through the use of competency tools like 360's and personality profiles. Assessments and evaluation tools are used to determine which competencies the clients inherently possess. Once defined a program is established to heighten leaders awareness around their abilities and strengths. This process has shown beneficial to the bottom line of many organizations.

When an executive or manager has a better understanding of their abilities and works to strengthen them they impact the bottom line. One executive may knowingly bring these skills to team meetings where by increasing proficiency and time spent on the meeting while another executive may be able to attract the necessary resources to complete tasks on time and with bottom line savings.

Each of these coaching types utilize the forward thought coaching model as well as other supporting tools that enables both the client and the organization to begin seeing immediate results.
